World Team Member Nathan Adrian, swimming for the University of California, blasted the American record in the men’s 100-yard free as the relay leadoff of Cal’s second-place 400-yard free relay at the Pacific 10 Championships. Nathan just missing the national record of 41.62 set by another Race Clubber, Anthony Ervin, back in 2002 with a 41.64 during the individual 100-yard free championship finale but bounced back with a sterling time of 41.43 on the relay leadoff.
